| This course introduces students to the exciting new experiments of Russian
authors reacting to Russia's Golden Age masters. Discussion supplemented
by brief lectures will focus on outstanding works representing various styles
and techniques developed to give new life to the Russian literary experience.
Examples will be chosen from the literatures of decadence, symbolism, utopianism,
and socialist realism, as well as the civil war, thaw, protest, and post-Soviet
periods. LIT EUR |
