Course Description:

We are going to read, write, speak, listen, sing, dance ... and all in Russian!

The system of fines is going to be strictly enforced the second week of classes. One word in English - 5 cents.

Requirements:

1. Regular attendance. If for some serious reason you are not able to come to class you have to let us know before class. Exam or paper in another course is not an excuse. If you are not prepared for class that's no reason to miss class.

2. Come on time!!!!!

3. No gum chewing or eating in class.

4. Written assignments are due in the beginning of the class. If you miss a class, have a classmate bring it to class.

5. You quizzes and exams will usually be announced ahead of time but from time to time we give unannounced quizzes. Quizzes and exams are sometimes given the day before vacation or the day after vacation, so don't plan to take off early or to come back late. We do not give make up quizzes and exams.

6. ASK for help. We have extended office hours.

7. Be systematic in your work. You can't learn a week's worth of material in one night before an exam.
